| Personality | Usually kind and patient, but is prone to mood-swings/sudden changes in personality. He has a bit of a personality disorder - while he's rarely ever evil, his bad persona (Lanus) is far more ignorant of other's feelings and needs. His mood dictates his life more than what is healthy, sometimes leading to bad or fatal decisions. Despite this Janus is a great source of information; he's fervently gathered knowledge on his travels through the years. He's intelligent but due to his problems with keeping a calm head he rarely gets to show his true potential. Janus loves to use big and complicated words, which can made him seem a bit condescending though it's not always his intention. There is usually a slight, barely noticeable smirk on his face, as if he’s viewing the world around him as very entertaining, as well as bewildering. |
| Physical Appearance | Most of Janus' coat is of a light fawn colour, except for the head and a bit of the ears which is black. His eyes are a dark, brown colour. |
| History | Janus was born in Belgium and eventually became a herding dog together with Hecate. But because of his and Hecate’s “complications”, they were moved around quite a bit – and always together seeing as they were inseparable – until they by accident ended up in Japan. Since there were no herders in Japan who could take care of the two dogs, they were simply released into the wild and left to their destiny. |
